Dijjer

Dijjer is like Codeen, Coral and Akamai a peer-to-peer web cache technology.

The system is similar to Bittorrent, however Dijjer is fully decentralized, there is no central server needed. It can be also compared a little bit with Freenet, because it uses caches on the clients and has also a interface that is accessable via web browser.

Unlike Coral or Akamai, you first have to download and install a client and then add the prefix http://127.0.0.1:9115/get/ to the URL you want to visit. So this URL would be http://127.0.0.1:9115/get/http://en.cship.org/wiki/Dijjer. The IP 127.0.0.1 stands for your local PC and 9115 for the port Dijjer uses.
