E-mail, short for electronic mail, is a method to send and receive testmessages over the Internet. It is possible to use a webmail service or to send E-mails with the SMTP protocol and receive them with the POP3 protocol. On this site you will find some stuff that goes beyond normal E-mail usage. It is very rare the a government blocks E-mail.

Several years ago when the Internet connections where slow and the www just invented many people just got a to E-Mail restricted access to the Internet.

That's the origin of the Agora and www4email software. You just send an E-mail and a few seconds later a robot will return the website you requested. Some of these E-Mail robots are still available and we can use them to bypass Internet censorship. The www4mail software is newer than the Agora software. An E-Mail with just "help" in the subject line and/or body will get you a tutorial on how to use the service properly. As an example I used the URL of this website.
