The first big Internet censorship incident was the block of Yahoo! Groups on September 23, 2003. They only wanted to block one group, but they blocked all the Yahoo groups for 2 weeks.
The second big Internet censorship incident was the blocking order of 18 Weblogs on July 13, 2006.
