Psiphon
From Cship
psiphon is a special kind of webproxy designed to bypass Internet censorship. In comparison to other webproxies like CGIProxy, PHProxy, Zelune or Glype it usually doesn't run on a server but on a normal Windows client. So for people in countries with Internet censorship (Like China, Thailand, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates) it works like a normal webproxy, but on the server side it allows people on a free Internet connection to set up such a webproxy on their home computer (even without a lot of technical knowledge).
The latest version is 1.6 from March 9, 2007.
The successor psiphon2 works completely different, it is not possible anymore to install it on a home Windows computer.
