Ziproxy
From Cship
Ziproxy is a free proxy server software which compresses text (HTML, CSS, JavaScript...) and images (JPEG, GIF, PNG...) on the fly, so that the user has to download less data. This is called a Web accelerator. Ziproxy is released under the GNU GPL license and written in the C programming language.
To use this program to bypass Internet censorship, you have to install it on a unfiltered server (or VPS) which runs Linux.
The latest version is 2.7.2 from September 30, 2009.
The free web accelerator service fasTun is believed to be based on the ziproxy software. Another free web accelerator software is RabbIT.
